Exchange tips and rules
This app helps a small group organize sticker exchanges. Anyone can use it, but it is designed from the start to be usable by children. That is why some features are intentionally limited and several safeguards are included.
An account can be used by an adult or a child, but real-life exchanges should stay simple and supervised.
Legal notice and privacy
If the account is used by a child
- An adult should know the group and the participants.
- Rare or important exchanges should be approved by an adult.
- Meetups to hand over stickers should happen in a known setting: school, training, or family.
- If the child is unsure, they should use the message “Ask an adult first”.
- Never share an address, phone number, or personal information.
General rules
- Each participant only uses their own account.
- Only tick stickers you really own.
- Mark `x2` or more only when a real duplicate is available.
- Before proposing an exchange, check that the offered sticker can really be given.
- A sticker promised in an exchange must not be stuck in the album or given elsewhere.
Rarity
- Rarity is calculated from duplicates declared across the whole app, not only in the displayed group.
- The app waits for enough participants, enough duplicates, and enough different duplicate stickers before showing “rare”.
- If the data is still too weak, it shows “not enough data”.
- Extra Stickers, for example Regular, Bronze, Silver, or Gold, are not part of the 980 stickers tracked in the app.
- If a participant finds an Extra or golden sticker, do not exchange it like a normal sticker: ask an adult first.
- This is not an official value.
- An alert appears if a participant may give a rarer sticker than the one received.
Messages
- There is no free chat.
- Participants only choose predefined messages.
- Messages are used to organize the exchange, not to chat freely.
- If in doubt, the exchange should go through an adult.
Handing over stickers
- When a request is accepted, both collections are updated automatically.
- The exchange also appears in “To bring” as a memo. The “Hide” button only hides the row.
- If the exchange ultimately does not happen, it can be cancelled with a predefined reason.
- A cancellation automatically restores both collections and keeps the exchange as cancelled.
- Accepted exchanges are archived automatically after a few days.
- If several requests exist for the same sticker, the first accepted one cancels the other pending requests.
- If a participant is in several groups, their inventory stays the same everywhere.
